Vale Trevor Scholz

Trevor Scholz was involved in a single vehicle accident on Monday 11 January 2021 and tragically lost his life. His partner Maureen was with Trev when the accident occurred and is now at home recovering.

Trevor held many posts at the Port City Men’s Bowling Club, including but not limited to Bowls Organiser, Senior Vice President and lately Treasurer.

Trevor loved our great game; his mateship and positive competitive nature will be desperately missed, especially by his mates at Port City and among the Club’s in the Zone.

Trevor loved his Pennant games and skipped a Port City State Pennant side, following victory at Zone level. He participated in all Club Championship events from singles to fours and enjoyed the comradery involved. He participated in bowls in the spirit of the games as intended and was always supportive of his team mates and respected his opposition.

He will be sorely missed. The Port City Men’s Bowling Club are deeply saddened and greatly impacted by his loss.
