2018 Zone Bowlers of the Year
Congratulations to Peter Taylor (Westport), Peter Stockham (Westport) and Josh Carney (Wauchope) who have won the 2018 Zone 14 Bowler of the year for the Open, Senior and Junior categories respectively. Official presentations will be made at the Zone Championship playoffs at Stuarts Point on Saturday 6th July.
The Open section was a close fought affair with Peter notching up 14 points with wins in the Zone Fours and club singles, runners up in the Zone Pairs and club pairs and a valuable point for winning the Southern section triples.
In a close second 1 point behind was Callum Murray from Port City on 13 points, and 1 point further back on 12 was Greg Brims also from Westport.

Peter Stockham was a clear cut winner in the Senior category scoring points in every event giving him a total 13 points, with Col Baldwin (Westport) in second place with 6 points.

The Junior category was another close affair however by scoring points in each of the 3 Zone championships Josh Carney edged away to win with 13 points. Joseph Clarke (Park Beach) and Cody Griffin (Port City) were runners up both with 10 points.
