State Championships – our Seniors star

In 2012 Col Baldwin and Peter Stockham from Westport were runners up in the State Open pairs championships.

At Ettalong Bowling Club over 22/24 September they took it one step further winning the 2019 State Senior pairs title defeating Beresfield (Zone 2) 21 to 13.  A great effort.  (Peter – left and Colin  – right – below).

Westport also figured in the final of the Senior State Triples which saw Colin Baldwin (again), Richard Lee and Michael Brennan take on Wagga Rules (Zone 8).  While no doubt disappointed in finishing (just) runner up – 22 to 24 – this was still a great achievement in making the final and pushing the winners all the way.
